About This Product

This rain gauge is fixed to a post outdoors to measure rainfall. Rain enters the top and fills the inner measuring tube first, so even a light shower can be read clearly; heavier rain overflows into the outer cylinder and is measured afterwards by pouring it into the calibrated tube. The bracket lets the cylinder be lifted off for reading or cleaning.
