About This Product

The slides are used in biology, botany, zoology and microbiology practicals for specimen preparation and observation. A clean slide is held by its edges, the specimen is placed at its centre with forceps, a dropper or a teasing needle, a drop of water, stain or mounting medium is added if instructed, and a coverslip is lowered gently to avoid air bubbles. The slide is then secured on the microscope stage and observed under low power first.
